English Study Centre

Englis Study Centre is one of several student organizations in Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo it was founded 6 March 1998.  English Study Centre usually known as ESC. This organization has an organization structure. It consists of main division and subdivisions. The main division consists by the president of ESC and the vice president of ESC, two secretaries, and two treasurers. The subdivisions consist of Creativity, Religion, Academic, Public Relationship, Organization Development and EDIF.

The divisions  and the duties

1.The President has duty to control and maintain the stability and direction all of activities.

2. The Vice president has duty to assist the president. The duty of secretaries is to organize the incoming and outgoing letters.

3. The Treasures have duty to organize the financial of the organization.

4.The Creative subdivision duties for planning and carrying out the programs mainly related to english. Including English Festival and Milad( Anniversary of ESC ) an annual event.

5. The Religion division make programs Islamic contest like a weekly Al-quran recitation and Mabit in Ramadhan activity.

6. The Academic division has program like a Internal Course it is for learning english.

7. The Organization Development division to help all division programs bring into reality and the important programs are recruitment and reorganization.

8. The duty of EDIF division to operate our ability in english skill. The duty of Public Relationship division to invite outside of ESC when we have event or we have any help.

The benefit of English Study Centre is we can improve our knowledge there. We found new experiences and new friends. The activities of ESC give many positive effects to our and communities like a social service. I think in this organization has good programs. If you joint in this organization I swear you will find new atmosphere.
